For Reviewers

Peer reviewers play a central role in maintaining the scientific quality of Aurora: A Journal of Contemporary Science. The journal uses a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity.

Responsibilities

Reviewers need to evaluate originality, relevance, clarity, and scientific quality of a manuscript in a constructive, respectful, and unbiased form. By accepting the review request, reviewers agree to maintain confidentiality of all manuscript content during and after the review process, and submit a review within two weeks or request an extension. Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Review Process

Each submission that passes the initial editorial screening is reviewed by at least two experts, with at least one being external to the editorial board. Internal reviewers may be involved if they have no conflict of interest. Reviewers receive a structured review form and are encouraged to provide detailed feedback to support editorial decisions. In case of conflicting reviews, a third opinion may be requested.

Ethics and Conduct

The journal follows the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Reviewers are expected to report any concerns such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or undisclosed AI use. Reviews are voluntary.
